Three days after he went missing, the body of Danneyvyen Daniels was found floating on the western side of the Pomeroon River on Sunday.
The News Room understands that the body was found at about 09:30hrs in a clump of bushes by a boat captain, identified as Rudolph Wilson of Akawini Village.
Daniels, who is also from Akawini Village, was clad in a white vest and long blue jeans. He went missing on Thursday last.
He was taken to the Oscar Joseph District Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The body is currently at the hospital mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
