41-Y-0 Eccles man missing

A mother is desperately searching for her 41-year-old son who left his Eccles, East Bank Demerara house on Sunday (June 19) and never returned.

Missing is Christopher Nichols; reports indicate that he was last seen heading to the bus park.

According to his mother, Lilly Samaroo, Nichols left their home on Sunday morning while she was sleeping.

When she woke up at around 10:00hrs, she inquired from neighbours and they too did not see him.

Later on, a friend contacted her and told her that Nichols was at her (the friend) store.

He eventually left the store and seemed to be heading to the bus park, the friend told the mother, but the man never returned home.

Samaroo said she filed the missing person report with the police. The mother said she is worried about her son since he is sick and may not be in the right frame of mind.
