Guyana and West Indies all-rounder, Keemo Paul, recently paid a visit to Timehri Prison,  East Bank Demerara, where he interacted with some of the inmates.

The trip, which was organised by his close friend, Siddiq Mohamed, was aimed at encouraging the inmates to change their lives during their time incarcerated, in order to have a positive impact on society when they are released.

In his motivational speech to the inmates, Paul urged them not to make the same mistakes when they re-integrate into society and that they must always seek to develop themselves.

The prisoners questioned the all-rounder about life as an international cricketer, the demands of the coaches, and the pressures he faces in life.

They also indicated it was the first time an active sport personality of such magnitude visited the facility and they appreciate the wisdom he shared.

Paul promised to donate balls and bats to the facility, and also return to participate in a friendly game of cricket.
