Two men die from COVID, 104 new cases reported
Two fully vaccinated men have died from COVID-19, taking the country’s overall death toll to 1, 253.
The Ministry of Health on Wednesday revealed that a 68-year-old from Region Two (Pomeroon – Supenaam) died on June 28 while the 64-year-old died on June 23.
Meanwhile, 104 new cases were recorded from 922 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 67, 325.
Region One (two cases), Region Two (11 cases), Region Three (three cases), Region Four (52 cases), Region Six (26 cases), Region Seven (six cases), Region Nine (three cases), and Region Ten (one case).
There are two patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 32 are in institutional isolation and 868 are in home isolation.
To date, 65, 170 people have recovered from the dreaded virus.
