A total of 86 new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Thursday after 604 tests were done. With the new cases, Guyana’s overall number of confirmed cases increased to 67, 929.
The new cases were recorded in Region One (nine cases), Region Two (six cases), Region Three (four cases), Region Four (50 cases), Region Five (two cases), Region Six (two cases), Region Seven (three cases), Region Nine (three cases) and Region Ten (seven cases).
There are three patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 37 patients are in institutional isolation and 784 are in home isolation.
To date, 65, 884 people have recovered and 1, 258 died.
