A 41-year-old carpenter was discovered dead on Sunday night at his house in Cullen, Region Two (Pomeroon – Supenaam), hours after he was last seen alive.
Roland Peters is suspected to have died by suicide.
His body was found by his brother, Emanuel Peters, at about 22:00hrs on Sunday.
The News Room understands that Emanuel went to visit his brother on Sunday night when he made the discovery.
The deceased was a known alcoholic and was living alone. His body was taken to Suddie Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His remains are at the Suddie Mortuary awaiting an autopsy.
