A man who is yet to be identified was Saturday afternoon stabbed to death during an argument that turned physical in New Amsterdam, Berbice.
News Room was informed that the victim was heading to purchase food in the vicinity of Pope Street, New Amsterdam when he was confronted by the suspect.
An argument ensued and it turned physical. The suspect reportedly whipped out a sharp object and stabbed the victim to his neck.
The victim collapsed and bled to death on the public road while the suspect escaped.
An investigation is underway. More details in a subsequent report.
