The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport has launched its first Guyana Talent Search Cricket Carnival song competition with $4 million and a chance to perform at the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) up for grabs.
Persons interested in participating in the competition are required to record an original Soca or Chutney song using the keywords “Guyana”, “CPL finals” and/or “Cricket Carnival”.
Submissions must be made to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport on WhatsApp at telephone number 592-653-1742 by August 13, 2022.
The Ministry has noted that there will be four winners – two males and two females.
