Dave Mohabir to lead Guyana U-15 cricket team in Grenada

Dave Mohabir will captain the Guyana Under-15 team at this year’s Regional Under-15 tournament in Grenada from August 18 – 28.

According to a press release from the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) on Saturday, Romario Ramdehol will deputize Mohabir.

“The GCB’s Junior National Selection panel chaired by Andre Percival selected the Under-15 team which presents a superb blend of skilled players”, the release indicated.

It is worthy to note that Mohabir’s elder brother, Alvin, is the captain of the National Under-17 squad, which is currently competing in Trinidad.

Shimron Hetmyer’s nephew, Adrian Hetmyer is also selected.

The other players are Shane Prince, Zandon Rose, Durwin La Rose, Dhanesh Persaud, Arun Gainda, Navin Boodwah, Arif Khan, Razam Koobir, Nicholas Lovell, Sohail Mohamed, and Jonathan Mentore.

The standbys are Omrion Smith, Mikle Sharma, Nicholas Hall, Thierry Henry, Elis Ramdat, and Enrique Mickle.

The manager is Elroy Stephany and Coach Latchman Yadram.
