A 74-year-old Region Four man is the latest COVID-19 fatality.
The unvaccinated man succumbed on June 25, taking the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,271.
A total of 79 new COVID-19 cases were recorded after 507 tests were conducted, the Health Ministry reported on Tuesday.
The ministry’s dashboard noted that the overall number of confirmed cases has now increased to 69, 547.
The new cases were recorded in; Region One (three cases), Region Two (two cases), Region Three (three cases), Region Four (24 cases), Region Six (seven cases), Region Seven (19 cases), Region Nine (17 cases) and Region Ten (four cases)
There are three patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 1 are in institutional isolation and 724 are in home isolation.
To date, 67, 533 people have recovered from the virus.
