A total of 73 new COVID-19 cases were recorded after 596 tests were conducted, the Health Ministry reported on Wednesday.
The ministry’s dashboard noted that the overall number of confirmed cases has now increased to 69, 620.
The new cases were recorded in; Region One (three cases), Region Two (four cases), Region Three (one case), Region Four (32 cases), Region Six (three cases), Region Seven (19 cases), Region Nine (nine cases) and Region Ten (two cases)
There are two patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, two are in institutional isolation and 700 are in home isolation.
To date, 67, 633 people have recovered from the virus and 1,271 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded since the start of the pandemic.
