Several weapons and a toy gun were among items seized by police officers between Friday night and early Saturday morning at the Emancipation J’ouvert held at the National Park, Georgetown.
Police Headquarters reported that full police coverage was provided to the event, which was attended by about 2,500 people.
At that event, scissors, lighters and a toy gun were among the improvised weapons seized.
However, there were no incidents.
