27 new COVID cases; one in ICU 

Another 27 people, including 13 men and 14 women, are now infected with COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard issued on Monday. 

With these new cases, infections recorded in Guyana since March 2020 have increased to 69,834. 

The new cases were recorded in Region Two (four cases), Region Three (two cases), Region Four (20 cases) and Region Seven (one case). 

Meanwhile, there is one patient in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 22 patients in institutional isolation and 580 patients are in home isolation.

To date, 67,960 people have recovered
