Regional U-19: Caesar (59), Ramsammy (41*) lead Guyana to 175-8
The Berbice duo, Tommani Caesar and Zeynul Ramsammy, played important hands in getting Guyana to 175-8 from 80 overs on day one of their Regional Under-19 Three-Day match with Trinidad and Tobago at Park Hill, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, on Wednesday.
Caesar, who opened the batting, made 59 (5x4s; 2x6s) from 142 balls, while Ramsammy, batting at eight, is unbeaten on 41 (3x4s; 2x6s) from 81 balls.
Bruce Vincent is the other man at the crease with two from 39 balls.
Zachary Jodah (29) and Rampertab Ramnauth (16) played supporting knocks as off-spinner Nick Ramlal has thus far taken 4-39.
