A total of 91 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported in its daily COVID-19 dashboard on Monday.
The new cases take the total number of infections recorded in Guyana since March 2020 to 70,561.
The new cases were recorded in Region One (one case), Region Two (eight cases), Region Three (15 cases), Region Four (44 cases), Region Five (two cases), Region Six (five cases), Region Seven (13 cases), Region Nine (one case) and Region Ten (two cases).
Meanwhile, there is one patient in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 466 patients in home isolation.
To date, 68, 806 people have recovered and 1,275 deaths have been recorded.
