Amazon Warriors newbie gets support from V-Net Communications
Junior Sinclair, one of the new faces in the Guyana Amazon Warriors squad for this season of the Hero Caribbean Premier League, has gotten some tangible support from V-Net Communications in the form of a brand new bat.
Through its Chief Executive Officer, Safraz Sheriffudeen, one of the leading satellite telecommunication companies in Guyana made the presentation to Sinclair at their 25 Delph Street, Campbellville, base on Tuesday.
Sheriffudeen congratulated Sinclair on his selection as one of the two Under-23 players in the squad, and knowing that either one of the players has to play a minimum of five group matches, he charged the young off-spinner to make the most of the opportunities, and aim next for the West Indies team.
With Guyanese and West Indies all-rounder, Keemo Paul, as their long-standing Brand Ambassador, the CEO reminded the small gathering that they would continue to support the development of youths in Guyana.
Over the past months, V-Net has increased its support to numerous young cricketers, many of whom have gained national team selection.
Sinclair, who plays for the V-Net’s cricket team, was most elated and appreciative of the kind gesture, stating it will certainly go a long way in helping his preparation for both the 6XITY and the Caribbean Premier League.
The lad from Berbice further disclosed he is looking forward to the tournament, and wants to represent the brand, and most importantly, Guyana, to the best of his ability.
