The management and staff of Jacobs Jewellery and Pawn Shop have expressed their sincere congratulation to their Brand Ambassador, Kevin Sinclair, on his selection to the West Indies One-Day International squad.
The 22-year-old, who has already played six Twenty20 Internationals, has gotten the nod for the three-match series against New Zealand which starts on Wednesday in Barbados.
According to a release from the entity located at 16 Pike Street, Kitty, Georgetown, “This achievement stands as proof that hard work and dedication still play an integral role on the road to triumph.”
The further release quoted the words of Sam Ewing, “Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses and some don’t turn up at all.”
Sinclair, an off-spinning all-rounder, is now the only Guyanese player in the squad.
From the original squad, left-handed batsman Shimron Hetmyer is unavailable due to personal reasons; all-rounder Keemo Paul is ruled out with an injury and left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie has failed to recover from the hand injury sustained during the CG United Series against India last month.
