The ongoing summer camp being hosted by the Fruta Conquerors Football Club at their base in Tucville, South Georgetown, has gotten a timely donation from Prudential Technologies.
According to Managing Director, Candy Forde, “We are delighted to support this impactful programme and to see many kids from the Tucville community and other adjoining areas mature before our very eyes and go on to represent Guyana.”
Forde added, “I would like to commend Coach Bonia [Sampson Gilbert] for his fatherly attention and dedication to these youths and to assure the Fruta Conquerors FC family of our support.”
The COVID-19 pandemic meant the camp has been dormant for the past two years but now Coach Gilbert will have a chance to work with the children from Tucville and other surrounding communities.
