Guyana recorded six new COVID-19 cases within the last 24 hours. The new cases were confirmed after 151 tests were conducted, taking the total number of cases since March 2020 to, 70, 809.
The new cases were recorded in; Region Three (one case), Region Four (four cases) and Region Six (one cased).
There are two patients in the COVID Intensive Care Unit, 13 patients are in institutional isolation and 364 are in home isolation.
To date, 69, 152 people have recovered and 1, 278 have died.
