Another 38 people were infected with the disease COVID-19 after another 427 tests were done, according to the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard.
With these new infections, the overall number of cases increased to 70, 926.
The new cases were recorded in Region One (one case), Region Three (six cases), Region Four (24 cases), Region Five (one case), Region Six (one case), Region Seven (one case) and Region Eight (four cases).
There are two patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, eight patients are in institutional isolation and 302 are in home isolation.
To date, 69,336 people have recovered and 1,278 have died.
