The Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Elections of Officer Bearers on Wednesday (August 24) at the Liguanea Club, Kingston, Jamaica, on the sidelines of the CASA Senior Championships.

Guyana’s Ramon Chan-A-Sue returned unopposed for his second term as President and is the lone Guyanese on the four-member executive, who will serve until 2024.

The other members are Vice-President Janet Sairsingh of the Cayman Islands, Secretary Kevin Hannaway of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Treasurer Nick Kyme of Bermuda.

Each of the eight member countries – Bermuda, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Jamaica- will appoint a Director before October 2022.

Also, a unanimous decision was made to host both the Junior and Senior CASA Championships in 2023, with St. Vincent and the Grenadines being chosen for the Junior Championships and the Cayman Islands, the tentative host for Seniors.

Host nations have until October 2022 to confirm.

Additionally, a Doubles category will be added to the Junior Championships, while Women’s Over-60 will play in the Senior Championships.
