6IXTY: Amazon Warriors men suffer 47-run defeat to TKR
Heinrich Klaasen’s unbeaten 25 was the lone score of note for the Amazon Warriors
After an opening victory on Thursday in the CPL Men’s 6IXTY, Guyana Amazon Warriors suffered a 47-run defeat at the hands of Trinbago Knight Riders on Friday at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
Trinbago Knight Riders, batting first, posted 95-4 with Tion Webster making 27 and Terrance Hinds 23. Odean Smith picked up 2-11, Waqar Salamkheil 1-7 and Ronsford Beaton 1-36.
Warriors, in reply, were dismissed for 48 in 8.1 overs with Heinrich Klaasen’s unbeaten 25 being the lone individual score in double figures.
Ravi Rampaul and Jayden Seales took two wickets each.
The Warriors’ next match is against Barbados Royals on Saturday from 12:30h.
