Guyana Shore Base Inc (GYSBI), the massive Guyanese company in the oil and gas sector has promoted managers Robert Albiez and Rabin Chandarpal to top management positions.

The company announced its new management on Friday via a social media post.

It was noted that Albiez, the newly-appointed General Manager, previously served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Chandarpal, who is now the Deputy General Manager, served previously as the Local Content and Permitting manager.

Guyanese businessman Robin Muneshwar is GYSBI’s Executive Director.

Earlier this year, the company inked an 11-year extension contract with Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (EEPGL), an ExxonMobil affiliate for the provision of shore base management and operations services.

The contract will run until 2033 and builds on the previous contract, which was awarded to the company in 2017 and will expire in August this year. The company has invested millions of dollars in developing the port facility.
