A total of 23 persons were infected with the COVID-19 disease after another 485 tests were done in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard reported on Tuesday.
With these new infections, the overall number of cases increased to 71, 005.
The new cases were recorded in Region Two (two cases), Region Three (two cases), Region Four (11 cases), Region Five (one case), Region Six (four cases) and Region Ten (three cases).
There are three patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, seven patients in institutional isolation and 225 are in home isolation.
To date, 69,492 people have recovered and 1,278 have died.
