A fisherman is feared dead after a reported lightning strike at sea Thursday night.
He has been identified as Ravin Chandradeo of Fyrish (Hogtown), Corentyne, Berbice.
The News Room understand that Chandradeo was fishing with his brother and another fisherman, in the waters off the Rose Hall area.
“Lightning flash and pitch him out the boat,” said Veeram, another fisherman. He said the hat Chandradeo was wearing was split in two as a result of the strike.
