Guyanese Narsingh Deonarine and Devendra Bishoo have been named in West Indies Legends squad to compete in the second Road Safety World Series in India, from September 10 to October 1.

While leg-spinner Bishoo will participate in the tournament for the first time, all-rounder Deonarine is making a return after impressing in the first edition in 2021.

The Brian Lara-led West Indies, with three wins from six games back then, made it to the semi-finals, but lost by 12 runs to eventual champions India Legends in a high-scoring semi-final.

Left-hander Deonarine played the final three games, making two half-centuries- 53 not out against England Legends and 59 against India in the semi-final.

West Indies will once again be led by Lara at the 2022 tournament.
