NGSA results to be announced on Friday

The results of this year’s National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) will be announced by the Ministry of Education on Friday.

On Monday, Education Minister Priya Manickchand announced that those results would be provided within the next 10 days. On Tuesday, the News Room was able to confirm that it will be announced on Friday.

This year, some 16,250 pupils from schools across the country sat this assessment. The NGSA is a secondary school placement examination but Minister Manickchand said that the ministry is working to ensure that all children will receive a sound education, no matter what secondary school they are awarded.
