No patient in COVID ICU; 12 new cases recorded

There are no patients receiving intensive care at the National Infectious Diseases hospital at Liliendaal, Georgetown, but another 12 people have been infected with the disease COVID-19.

This is according to the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard. With these new cases, the total number of cases recorded in Guyana since March 2020 has increased to 71, 186.

The 12 new cases were recorded from: Region Two (two cases) Region Three (four cases) and Region Four (six cases).

Meanwhile, there are 153 people in home isolation and two people in institutional quarantine.

There have been a total of 1,279 deaths and 69,746 recoveries.
