There has been one new COVID-19 infection based on information provided by the Ministry of Health.
The new case takes the total number of COVID-19 infections recorded in Guyana since March 2020 to 71, 192.
These new cases were recorded in: Region Four (one case).
Additionally, there is one patient in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Eight persons remain in institutional isolation and 158 in home isolation.
There have been 1,279 deaths and 69,746 recoveries.
