A miner of Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara was on Wednesday charged and remanded to prison on a charge that he had narcotics with the intention of trafficking it.
Wilfred Reynolds was brought before Magistrate Crystal Lambert at the Bartica Magistrate Court, where he was read the charge.
The Guyana Police Force (GPF) said the man was arrested on September 13.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to prison until September 29.
