Two charged for armed robbery at Uitvlugt
Kendal Cozier, 25, a labourer of Onderneeming, West Bank Demerara and 31-year-old Shawn Henry of Independence Boulevard, Albouystown were remanded to prison for four counts of armed robbery.
The duo made their appearance at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court on Thursday and were not required to plead to the charges.
The men appeared before Magistrate Zameena Ali-Seepaul and were both remanded to prison until October 27, 2022.
Cozier was arrested on Monday while Henry was arrested the next day.
They are accused of robbing several persons on Monday at Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara, including, a 50-year-old businesswoman and a 27-year-old housewife both of Uitvlugt, a 40-year-old Tattoo Artist of Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo and a 35-year-old Barber of Vergenoegen, East Bank Essequibo.
