A total of four new COVID-19 cases were recorded at the weekend, taking the total number of infections confirmed in Guyana since March 2020 to 71, 315.
Based on the information provided in the Health Ministry’s daily COVID-19 dashboard on Sunday, these new cases were recorded after 209 tests were done.
There are no patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) however, there are six persons in institutional isolation and 79 persons in home isolation.
Thus far, 69,946 patients have recovered from the virus and 1,281 deaths were recorded.
