E’bo man fined $30,000 on charge of trafficking cocaine

A man who pleaded guilty to a possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking was on Monday fined $30,000.

33-year-old Rajveer Bisram of Walton Hall, Essequibo Coast was arraigned at the Charity Magistrate’s Court where Magistrate Crystal Lambert read the charge to him.

The man pleaded guilty. He was caught with one gramme of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

He was fined and ordered to do 180 hours of community service. If not he will be sentenced to three years in jail.
