Sankar’s Auto Works has signed Guyana Amazon Warriors captain Shimron Hetmyer as its Valvoline Brand Ambassador.
At a simple ceremony this week, the left-hander signed on the dotted lines alongside CEO of Sankar’s Auto Works, Sase Sankar.
Sankar’s Auto Works has been in existence since 1993, and has been distributing the Valvoline line of products for the last 12 years.
The CEO said signing someone of the stature of Hetmyer will bring significant visibility to Valvoline, noting that the company’s core values align with that of the Guyana and West Indies cricketer.
“Today is indeed a very special day for us. For the first time we’re venturing into something bigger than we normally do,” Sankar said.
“With the help of our ambassador Shimron Hetmyer we will be able to garner a lot visibility for the Valvoline brand and all the other products that we sell. We anticipate this will be something be very big in the future. This brand will become among the best brands for lubricants and after-market chemicals in Guyana.”
Hetmyer, in brief remarks, expressed gratitude to Sankar’s Auto Works and Valvoline for signing him, noting that he plans to represent the brand to the best of his ability.
