Two COVID cases from 123 tests

Only two new COVID-19 cases were been recorded over the past 24 hours, based on information provided by the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard released on Monday.

This case was recorded in Regions Four and Six (one each) after a total of 123 tests were done. Now, a total of 71, 351 cases have been recorded in Guyana since March 2020.

Importantly, there are no patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Diseases Hospital but there are three persons in institutional isolation, 65 persons in home isolation and two people in institutional quarantine.

Thus far, 70,002 patients have recovered from the virus but 1,281 people died.
