Three new COVID cases from 157 tests

Only three new COVID-19 cases were been recorded over the past 24 hours, based on information provided by the Ministry of Health in its daily COVID-19 dashboard released on Wednesday.

The new cases were recorded in Regions One (one case) and Four (two cases) after a total of 157 tests were done.

Now, a total of 71, 356 cases have been recorded in Guyana since March 2020.

Importantly, there are no patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Diseases Hospital but there are three persons in institutional isolation and 65 persons in home isolation.

Thus far, 70,007 patients have recovered from the virus but 1,281 people died.
