Two persons are now dead following an accident along the Kiltern, Public Road, East Berbice Corentyne.
Dead is Yusuf Ali, of Johanna South, Black Bush Polder. The second victim, said to be the driver and also from Johanna, has not been identified.
Reports are that the two men were in the bus when the vehicle crashed into a parked truck along the Kiltern road.
Ali’s father, Nazir Ali, told reporters that he got a call informing him that his son died in an accident and when he arrived at the scene, he saw the driver and his son on the parapet unconscious.
He said that the last time he saw his son was on Sunday when he visited to help fix his tractor.
