A 40-year-old man was on Monday morning stabbed to death by his reputed wife, 30.
The dead man has been identified as Michael Wilson called “Yankee”. The incident occurred at Nabaclis on the East Coast of Demerara.
Regional Commander Khali Pareshram told the News Room that the matter is being investigated. He could not provide further details.
The News Room understands that the couple were involved in a fight when Wilson was stabbed. The woman is now hospitalised under police guard.
