No play in West Indies, Netherlands warm-up game

West Indies and the Netherlands were denied much-needed game time ahead of the World T20, as their warm-up game on Wednesday was abandoned without a ball bowled.

West Indies, two-time champions of the global event, are preparing to play in the Qualifiers, with their first match being on Monday morning against Scotland.

On Sunday last, West Indies won their first warm-up match against the United Arab Emirates, emerging with a 17-run victory.

West Indies games (in Group B of the Qualifiers)

Monday October 17- vs Scotland in Hobart (starting midnight)

Wednesday October 19- vs Zimbabwe in Hobart (starting 04:00h)

Friday October 21- vs Ireland in Hobart (starting midnight)

* The top two teams from Group B will join the top two teams from Group A in the tournament proper. Group A comprises Sri Lanka, Namibia, United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands.
