Officers of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) on Sunday seized some 35.3802 kg (78 lbs) of marijuana during an operation in No. 76 Village Housing Scheme, Corentyne, Berbice.
The officers discovered three parcels of marijuana whilst proceeding to the back lands of the village, CANU said in a statement.
Investigations are ongoing.
