Four police ranks under close arrest after crashing force’s vehicle
Four police ranks are under close arrest after they reportedly crashed one of the Guyana Police Force’s vehicles on Monday.
In a short statement, Police Headquarters revealed that the incident occurred in Berbice.
“Four police ranks have since been placed under close arrest as the investigation continues. More details in a subsequent report,” the statement said.
The News Room understands that the ranks were responding to a report of an accident involving a cow when they crashed.
No further details were provided and there is no clear indication as to where exactly in Berbice the incident occurred.
Efforts to contact Regional Commanders for Regions Five and Six proved futile.
