National Junior badminton championship attracts large turnout on first day

The Guyana Badminton Association’s National Junior Tournament served off to an exciting start Thursday afternoon at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

This tournament is seeing rivalry in Boys Singles, Girls Singles, Boys Doubles and Girls’ Doubles games in the U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 categories.

Results from the matches are as follows:

Under-19 Boys Singles:

Preliminary matches will continue on Friday from 17:00h, with the category finals set for Saturday.
