Cricket West Indies President Ricky Skerritt on Friday promised a “thorough postmortem” into all aspects of the West Indies team preparation and performance at the ICC Men’s World T20 in Australia.

The Nicholas Pooran-led Caribbean side crashed out in the first round of the global event, losing by nine wickets to Ireland and failing to make the Super 12 stage for the first time.

It was the West Indies’ second defeat in three games in Group B, after they suffered a 42-run loss to Scotland in the opening game. The lone victory came against Zimbabwe, by 31 runs.
