Sharon Scott, the 53-year-old mother of three from Ann’s Grove, East Coast Demerara who was chopped and set on fire as her abusive husband hacked their 21-year-old son to death has died.
Family members confirmed that Scott died in the wee hours of Sunday, one month after the September 21, 2022 attack.
The woman was brutally stabbed and then set on fire with gasoline but was soon after listed as being in a stable condition having suffered first-degree burns.
Her abusive husband had moments before hacked their 21-year-old son, Seon Bobb to death.
The husband Leon Bobb, 57, a farmer died while receiving medical treatment. He ingested a poisonous substance after the beserk attack.
Seon Bobb lived with his parents who the police say often had domestic disputes. ‘
