Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson Jr., at the weekend announced that the construction of a home for the racquet sports- Badminton and Table Tennis- will begin soon.

Speaking to representatives and players of both fraternity, Ramson Jr. highlighted that the facility will be housed in the compound of the National National Racquet Centre, Wolford Avenue, Georgetown.

“The project will start in a few days and is expected to be completed within six months,” the Ministry posted on its Facebook page.

“Minister Ramson shared with the gathering that the project was initiated having received the representations from the respective associations over the last two years where the Ministry was able to build a strong working and constructive relationship.”
