Harbour Bridge accident: Board of Inquiry recommends suspending license of pilot for two years
The Board of Inquiry into the major accident to the Demerara Harbour Bridge after a Panamanian fuel vessel collided with it on October 8, 2022 has recommended that the river pilot, Kenneth Cort, be suspended for a period of not less than 24 months and only be allowed to return to duty after a process or recertification, assessment of his competency to operate as a pilot by MARAD.
