A 59-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday by ranks of the Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) after he was found with 174.8 grams (just under one pound) of marijuana.
Ignatius Mann of Prashad Nagar, Georgetown, was intercepted by ranks at the Rubis Gas Station on Mandela Avenue.
CANU in a statement said a quantity of marijuana was discovered on his motorcycle.
Further investigations, led to ranks conducting a search of the Mann’s residence, which resulted in the discovery of an additional quantity of marijuana. Investigations are ongoing.
