Five persons were infected with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the results of 303 new tests have shown.
The new cases were recorded from Region Three (one case) Region Four (three cases) and Region six (one case), taking the total number of COVID-19 infections recorded locally since March 2020 to 71,436.
Meanwhile, there are no patients in the ICU; however, two persons remain in institutional isolation and 30 persons are in home isolation.
Thus far, 70,123 patients have recovered from the virus but 1,281 people have died.
