KFC Guyana onboard with GMR&SC International Race of Champions

Corporate support continues to stream in for the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) International Race of Champions on November 12-13, and KFC Guyana is the latest company to confirm its support.

At a brief handing over ceremony, Chet Singh of the GMR&SC received the sponsorship cheque from Pamela Manasseh, the Marketing Manager of KFC Guyana.

The global fast food franchise is a general event sponsor of the season-ending showpiece, and executives of the GMR&SC are grateful for the continued support.

The highly-anticipated two-day event will be held on the newly extended track at South Dakota Circuit, with drivers and riders from across the Caribbean expected in the country for the mega event.

Apart from the Caribbean Motor Racing Championship, the final leg of the Caribbean Radical Series will be held, with Guyana’s Kristian Jeffrey vying for championship honours in the latter event.

Plans are moving apace for a grand two days of racing, and the GMR&SC is working to ensure that all systems are in place for what is anticipated to be one of the largest November race meets.

KFC Guyana apart, the GMR&SC has received support from the Government of Guyana, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Ministry of Tourism, Junior Sammy Guyana Inc., Banks DIH Limited, E-Networks, Seaboard Marine, VALS Construction, Vitality Group, SOL Guyana Inc., Secure Innovations and Concepts, AJM, UNICOM, GuyCrete Inc., Prem’s Electrical, The Track and Puran Brothers Disposal.

Admission to race day on Sunday is G$2,500 for adults and G$1,000 for children. Saturday is free access.
