Vitality Inc. and partners throw support behind GMR&SC International Race of Champions
Vitality Inc., together with Sawh VoltComm Construction and TEKTON Inc., recently presented a cheque valued $2 million to Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) as sponsorship for the International Race of Champions on November 12-13 at the South Dakota Circuit.
“In handing over the cheque, Mr. Badesh Thakur, one of the Managing Director noted this sponsorship will extend into 2023 for this race meet. He further acknowledged the works of GMR&SC, which over the past 50 years transformed the automotive industry in Guyana,” a press release outlined.
“It is for this reason that the trio companies extend their support toward this marquee circuit racing event in Guyana.”
The release continued, “At the simple handing over ceremony, Mr. Thakur explained that the directors are all thrilled by the fact that these strategic high-level race meets and events attract over 30,000 patrons from all demographics in a single day, while recognising that the November Race of Champions is indeed the single-largest sporting event.”
